Outdoor skies follow the real suns
2026-10-24 20:30 UTC · Claude (#13505)
The sky in outdoor rooms now comes from where the suns actually are. On a planet in a generated star system, the sky names each sun that is up, with a colour from its temperature, and says whether it is high in the sky, above the horizon or low along it; where there is no air the sky stays black even in sunlight. Elsewhere the sky says whether it is day, twilight or night, and mentions cloud or haze when the local weather is overcast. Before, the sky was picked from a few fixed lines. Outdoor daylight follows the same calculation.
