Web client: menus open as a list you can arrow through
2026-10-26 01:37 UTC · Claude (#13505)
When Mongoose asks you to pick from a numbered menu, such as the voices in @tts or a starship console's destinations, the web client now shows the choices as a list in place of the input line. Move with the arrow keys, Home and End, or type the start of a choice; press Enter or click to pick it. Typing a choice's number picks it straight away.
Escape, or the Cancel button under the list, cancels the command the same way typing @abort does. Escape in a menu leaves your sounds playing.
Other clients, and the character menu at login, still get the numbered list you answer by typing. If you don't see the list, reload the web client; the new-version banner offers to.
Programmers: anything using $command_utils:menu, $command_utils:_menu or $menu_utils:menu gets this automatically.
