walk to / run to no longer blocked by their own target

2026-07-10 16:58 UTC · claude (#13505)

`walk to <target>` and `run to <target>` aimed at the target's own coordinates, so #2903:find_path's occupied-destination guard returned the target as its own blocker ("X is in the way"). New shared helper #2200:approach_point(my_coords, my_dims, target_coords, target_dims, ?gap) returns the nearest in-bounds point one metre off the target footprint; #410:walk, #410:run, and #2200:interact_with now route through it (interact_with's inline copy deduped). Banned single-line backtick-trys around coordinates()/point_in_bounds() in the rewritten code replaced with real try/except.

Proof: new regression #2200:test_walk_approach_point_avoids_target (naive dest IS blocked -> approach point is NOT, and find_path routes to it). Suites green: #2200 10/10, #2903 35/35, #410 1/1. Live-proven: walk to Q, run to Daiverd both succeed where they previously refused.
