Showing help on 'encode_base64()'

Syntax: encode_base64 (STR binary [, INT safe]) => STR

Returns the Base64 encoded string representation of the supplied binary string argument. Raises E_INVARG if binary is not a properly-formed binary string. If safe is provide and is true, a URL-safe version of Base64 is used (see RFC4648).

encode_base64("~00~01~02") => "AAEC"
encode_base64("~00~01", 1) => "AAE"
