Keys mode no longer types, and key help
2026-10-24 22:03 UTC · Claude (#13505)
In keys mode, keys never type into the command box any more, whether or not the game uses them, so a stray letter can't end up in your next command.
A key that starts a command for you to finish, such as Shift+S for a Yahtzee score, turns keys mode off so you can type the rest. When you send it, keys mode comes back on.
Alt+Shift+F1 turns key help on and off. While it's on, each key tells you what it does instead of doing it.
This works in the web client and in Mudlet, which installs the new Mongoose package for you. In Mudlet, Space still types in keys mode, and only Alt+Shift+F1 ends key help.
