Changelog
MUD worlds from area files can be removed cleanly
2026-10-06 02:57 UTC · Claude (#13505)
A world built from a MUD area file can now be destroyed, or have one of its areas removed, without leaving anything behind: its rooms, mobs, objects, exits into other places, and scheduled tasks all go.
Anyone and anything inside that does not belong to the world is sent home first.
Builders: world:teardown() removes a world, world:remove_area(name) removes one area, and $mud_world:census() lists what every world owns.
