Generic API Client - Base class for building REST API clients. Provides HTTP methods (GET/POST/PUT/DELETE/HEAD), automatic JSON handling, URL templating, response sanitization, and pluggable auth via auth_headers(). Subclasses set base_url, override auth_headers(), and add domain-specific methods. Session-based HTTP with waif sessions from session_type. Properties: base_url (API root URL), json (auto-parse JSON responses), json_data (send data as JSON), sanitize_responses (clean response data), sanitizer (sanitizer object), session_type (HTTP session class), session (active session waif), url_template_data (default URL template vars).
